1. Acceptance

By accessing or using mockDe you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Service Description

mockDe is an AI-powered IELTS preparation platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the British Council, IDP Education, or Cambridge Assessment English. IELTS is a registered trademark of its respective owners.

3. Free vs Premium

The free tier provides limited mock tests and blurred detailed feedback. Premium unlocks full AI feedback, all test types, and advanced features for a one-time fee. Prices are shown on the Upgrade page.

4. De-Credits

De-Credits ("De") are virtual credits used to access AI-evaluated tests on mockDe. They come in two forms:

  • Bonus Credits - awarded free via daily login, referrals, or promotions. These have no monetary value.
  • Purchased Credits - bought via payment. All De-Credit purchases are final and non-refundable.

mockDe reserves the right to modify the number of credits required per test, adjust or discontinue the daily bonus, change credit pricing, or suspend the De-Credit system entirely at any time without prior notice. In the event of discontinuation, any unused Purchased Credits will be forfeited without compensation.

5. Acceptable Use

  • Do not scrape, crawl, or harvest content from the platform
  • Do not abuse or overload the AI evaluation endpoints
  • Do not resell, sublicense, or redistribute platform content
  • Do not impersonate other users or mockDe staff

6. Intellectual Property

All platform content, AI models, branding, and code belong to mockDe. Your test responses and essays belong to you. By submitting content for evaluation you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of generating feedback.

7. No Guarantee of Results

AI band scores are estimations calibrated against published marking criteria. We do not guarantee any specific IELTS band outcome. Actual exam scores may differ.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, mockDe's total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights under your local law.
